The Louvre Museum is a must in the capital.
Located on the right bank of the Seine, in the heart of Paris, it is one of the largest museums in the world with nearly 35,000 works on display.The Louvre is above all the history of the former home of the kings of France which will be enlarged and embellished over the centuries.
The medieval vestiges, which mark the starting point of the visit, testify to the evolution of this fortress becoming a Palais-Royal then a museum.
We will discover a selection of the exceptional collection of works of art that makes the reputation of the museum.
On the program, the Louvre Museum's essential masterpieces: remarkable sculptures from ancient Egypt and Greece, characteristic or essential paintings from the Italian Renaissance, Neoclassicism and French Romanticism.
During this visit, you will meet famous works such as the Venus of Milo, the Victory of Samothrace, the Mona Lisa, the Wedding of Cana, the Rite of Napoleon, the Freedom guiding the people ... and discover what made their name.

– The Louvre Museum is open every day, except Tuesdays and January 1st, May 1st and December 25th, from 9am to 6pm. The closing of the rooms starts at 17:30.
– This visit can take place every day except Tuesday.
– This visit can be made during the night opening of the museum (Wednesday & Friday)

ENTRANCE TICKET AT THE LOUVRE MUSEUM
To avoid the long queue at the ticket office on the day of the visit and to enjoy easy access, I strongly advise you to get your tickets before the visit.
